Online tracking is available on Ethiopostal.com website for both domestic and international. Alternatively offline tracking is also available by contacting the nearest ethio postal office directly and present your tracking number. They will check in the system is the item is available for collection.

General Lost Item (Shipment) Claim Procedure
In the event of the items / package has not arriving exceeding the maximum expected arrival time you may consider to do the following
1. Contact the nearest local post office and present them the tracking number for them to check in the system database. This is only valid for trackable international delivery from foreign post office or EMS. Not application for courier service i.e. DHL, TNT, Fedex, UPS, etc
2. If still unable to tracking - then contact the sender to check with their post office database about the location of the items / package
3. If confirmed the items lost then request the sender to claim compensation from his post office
Note: That post office policy does not provide full refund the amount of the item price or the amount of the total shipment cost. It depends on their policy and sometimes no refund at all.

Ethiopia postal codes can be searched in GeoCode database. Only certain cities in Ethiopia where the postal codes are applied in most places they are still using the P.O. Box system including the main city

While international delivery using EMS service will take around 7 to 14 business working days.
