Singpost registered mail delivery to Saudi Arabia is held by customs and returned to Singapore

One of the most common circumstances when shipping item to international destination is going through customs inspection - example of item posted / shipped via Singpost registered mail on the 12 Aug 2016 was held by Saudi Arabia customs on the 10 Oct 2016 (after 2 months) and then eventually returned back to sender. This is one of the most frustrating wait of 2 months delivery and the worst has come when it is then returned back. Below is tracking by Singpost post office.
