PostNord EMS Delivery Time from Malmo Sweden returned due to Customs

One of the biggest postal / courier challenges to India is their customs department. The case below is an example an item from Malmo Sweden is shipped / posted to India via PostNord EMS (Express Mail Service) registered mail on the 18 Jul 2016 was held by India's Customs department and then eventually having to return the item back to Sweden. The item only arrived back in Sweden on the 01 January 2017 which is took indescribably long time (5 months. This is completely a waste of time and also money of sending it for both the sender and receiver.
