PostNL registered mail unsuccessful delivery to OMAN

This is one example of difficulties when posting item to the Arabic countries (mainly the Middle East) - the problem is the language alphabet. I still recall one time sending item to Syria where the recipient name and address are written in English (originally in Arabic). The problem with the Arabic words written in English can be spelled differently as long as the sound is almost the same. For example Mr. Wafi Al Juneid can be Mr.Wafi Al Junaid or Mr.Wafi Al Junaidi - the Arab post man can interpret their address by common sense although it is spelled differently in English but because there are unique it's easy for them to figure out where. But the name of the person can be confusing and eventually the item was returned to me from Syria - with the reason there is no person with that name to deliver to. I believe this postnl delivery case is similar. Below is tracking information both from postnl and OMAN post office.
